Join Vestas as a Quality Lead for NCE Service Offshore and play a key role in driving quality excellence, operational performance, and customer satisfaction across Northern & Central Europe (NCE) Offshore Service. In this strategic position, you will partner with Offshore Service Operations and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the offshore value chain to ensure quality is embedded into service execution.

The Service Quality team acts as a strategic business partner to the Service organization, ensuring operational and process requirements are consistently fulfilled across all service activities.
By providing expert guidance and supporting effective quality processes across the Service function, the team enables a consistent and practical approach to quality management. Through governance, risk management, compliance support, and structured problem-solving, Service Quality helps Service teams operate efficiently.
The team also works closely with Product Lines, R&D, and Service Operations to support the identification, investigation, escalation, and resolution of product quality issues affecting service performance. By ensuring that operational feedback and field experience are effectively communicated and addressed, Service Quality helps drive resolution of product-related concerns and supports the delivery of reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Represent Service Quality within NCE Offshore Service and act as a trusted business partner ensuring the deployment of Service Quality strategies, as well as supporting quality performance and best practices across the offshore service portfolio
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance through relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and areas requiring investigation for improvement
- Support the resolution of quality issues and non-conformities by facilitating containment actions, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with Product Lines, R&D, and Service teams to support the investigation, escalation, and resolution of product quality issues impacting offshore operations, ensuring operational feedback is captured and effectively addressed
- Ensure compliance with Vestas policies, processes, and applicable quality standards, while supporting the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal and external ISO 9001 audits
- Support Sales and Offshore Service Operations during bidding and contract review, by reviewing customer quality requirements, identifying quality-related risks, and contributing to Service Quality Plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline, combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management, Service Operations, or a related field
- Experience within Service, Offshore Operations, Wind Energy, or other operationally intensive industries will be highly valued
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), risk management, and structured problem-solving techniques
- Experience supporting quality investigations, product quality issue resolution, and cross-functional problem-solving activities
- Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor with hands-on experience planning, conducting, supporting, and closing internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving sustainable improvement actions
- Understanding of offshore service operations, including service delivery processes, operational risks, customer requirements, and contractual quality obligations within a dynamic operational environment
- Experience supporting tender reviews, contract reviews, and customer quality requirements, with the ability to translate contractual requirements into Service Quality Plans

- Team-oriented approach with an understanding of the importance of quality, compliance, and service delivery
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across regional and cross-functional teams
