Join our team as a Quality Inspector and play a key role in delivering some of the world’s largest offshore wind projects. Working at the heart of project execution, you’ll ensure the highest standards of safety and quality from installation through to commissioning and handover. Region NCE and Global Offshore > Customer Project Execution, NCE > Offshore CPX Operational Site Quality NCE & AME

In Customer Project Execution (CPX), we have dedicated teams of highly skilled Quality Inspectors who support our offshore projects globally. As trained professionals, they contribute to some of the largest wind farm projects in the world.

Our teams play a vital role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our customers, working closely with key stakeholders. A strong focus on safety and quality is at the core of everything we do and is key to our success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the offshore project site management team, supporting WTG installation, commissioning, and handover to service
  • Ensure full compliance with Vestas’ safety and quality standards in all activities
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and client representatives across all quality tasks
  • Plan and carry out component inspections, including incoming deliveries such as nacelles, towers, and blades
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities, ensuring accurate data handling and processing
  • Review, approve, and maintain inspection reports while coordinating quality improvements across the value chain
  • Promote a strong quality and safety culture on site, ensuring all work is delivered efficiently and meets customer requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is an advantage
  • Experience interpreting electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic diagrams is beneficial
  • Previous experience with Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), SAP and/or Procore systems is desirable
  • Prior offshore experience
  • Experience in inspection processes and reporting is advantageous
  • Fluence in English

Additional information

Primary work location: You can be based anywhere in Denmark, or the UK.

This position requires approximately 180 days of global travel per year.
