Project purchasing is responsible for all the deliverables of direct and indirect activities for offshore projects in NCE. They coordinate with all project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, supply chain, transport, construction) to ensure that materials are purchased and delivered according to the project plan (schedule, delivery location, and budget) for offshore wind projects under execution in North and Central Europe. This includes working closely with Project Management team, warehouse, technical support, procurement, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across departments and functions, following up with suppliers to ensure they are giving an order confirmation that matches the production on site.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project procurement plan and site order list; ensure timely deliveries via schedule coordination
- Handle Purchase Requisition, Requirements Planning, and PO (Purchase Order) cost allocation to correct budget activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, NPM (New Product Master) team on BoM (Bill of Material) and Change Notices to meet project timelines
- Follow up with suppliers from PO issuance to delivery, invoicing, and PO closure
- Coordinate with Procurement for price updates and Incoterm changes
- Ensure SAP reflects current data, including project material configuration and development updates
- Ensure VAT and customs compliance across all procurement activities
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, buying, construction, service, or related supply chain roles
- Background in vendor/subcontractor management; wind industry experience and supply base knowledge valued
- Proficient interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; effective written and verbal English communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP
- Comfortable working flexible hours and across time zones with diverse cultures
- Solid project management skills and ability to coordinate across functions
- Readiness to travel to offshore sites as needed

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately up to 10 days per year within Europe.
