We offer you a key position in tying all the strings together to ensure we reach our ambition within the software delivery and integration domain - supporting the overall vision of maintaining Vestas' position as number 1 in the sustainable energy business.
We are seeking a Project Manager to manage strategic improvement initiatives that spans across the entire software R&D organization and our accompanying value chain. We are a part of the Product Applications and Controls product development organization encapsulating the IT/OT/data capabilities and future digital technology roadmaps for Vestas' products.
You will be part of a global team consisting of Project Managers, Release Managers, Test Managers, Verification Specialists and DevOps Engineers that collaborate closely to mature our capabilities within SW verification and - release. The team consists of 40 people and are located in both Aarhus, Denmark and Porto, Portugal.
Responsibilities
Your primary task will be to manage key strategic software initiatives that span across multiple SW modules and value chain stakeholders. Your role will be to drive the initiatives forward, ensuring concrete plans for meeting objectives and ensuring alignment across the organization. You will be working closely with management and Tech. Leads for each of the initiatives and ensure that key stakeholders are updated on progress and challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the planning on strategic projects
- Organizing steerco meetings and ensure alignment across the organization
- Communicate & report progress to various stakeholders
- Coordinate resources and prioritizations in alignment with line management and stakeholders
- Handle project challenges with employees and stakeholders
- Facilitate scope definitions through workshops and active stakeholder management
Qualifications
- A relevant education in Business, Business development or Engineering + a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Project or Program Management in a larger organization with relevant context
- We prefer relevant project management certifications (PRINCE2, SAFe, etc.)
