Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) is the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, encompassing the full industrial value chain — from Research & Development, Procurement and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. VTO’s mission is to transform the way Vestas engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet the highest standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.
Within Vestas Technology & Operations, the Onshore Products team develops our most competitive onshore turbine generators. We foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where diversity and teamwork lead the way in renewable energy.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing project and program plans, including timelines, milestones and resource coordination. Provide support in tracking project and program budgets. Help identify, track and document project and program risks. Support risk mitigation activities and follow-up actions
- Manage day‑to‑day project logistics, including scheduling meetings, sending invitations and coordinating workshops. Support purchase order creation, vendor coordination and related administrative tasks
- Contribute to the creation of weekly and monthly project/program reports. Assist in developing dashboards and visual updates to track progress and performance
- Support all stages of the project/program lifecycle, including initiation, organisation, execution and closure. Assist with documentation and process adherence throughout each phase
- Assist in preparing steering committee (SteerCo) materials and governance documentation. Support preparation of gate reviews and compliance‑related deliverables
- Support development of communication materials, including town hall presentations and internal updates. Assist with drafting presentations and other stakeholder communication assets
- Provide general administrative support to the department. Assist with team coordination, documentation management and day-to-day operational tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of project planning and business administration, including coordination, documentation, and organizational processes
- Experience supporting project and program planning activities, including developing schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining project documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and familiarity with established Project and Program Management frameworks (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support structured project governance processes
