At Vestas, we are looking for a Program Manager to join our Product Verification & Compliance (PV&C) leadership team. In this highly visible role, you will help shape how we manage our portfolio, prioritize investments, improve ways of working, and ensure strategic initiatives translate into measurable business value.
As a trusted partner to the Head of PV&C, you will act as a key driver of operational excellence, portfolio governance, and continuous improvement across a global organization spanning Denmark, the UK, and India.
PV&C department is responsible for defining and governing how Vestas verifies and certifies its products, enabling safe and compliant design practices, leading critical verification and testing activities, and securing certification of our products against relevant industry standards.
Responsibilities
As Program Manager, you will play a central role in connecting strategy with execution across PV&C. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the PV&C project and portfolio landscape, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities, business demand, capacity, and resource allocation
- Drive portfolio governance, quarterly prioritization processes, and investment planning to support informed decision-making and business objectives
- Monitor and improve the performance of strategic, development, and business improvement initiatives, ensuring delivery of expected outcomes, value, and financial targets
- Act as a trusted partner to the PV&C leadership team, shaping strategy, challenging the status quo, and driving organizational improvements
- Champion the successful implementation of transformation initiatives, ensuring ideas are translated into sustainable business results
- Establish and promote consistent project and portfolio management practices across a decentralized project management environment
- Mentor and influence project management professionals across PV&C, fostering collaboration, governance excellence, and continuous improvement
Qualifications

- Several years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, PMO leadership, or a similar role
- Experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and budget considerations
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution, governance, and organizational change
- Experience working with project management methodologies and governance frameworks
- Financial planning, resource management, or investment management experience is advantageous
- Experience within engineering, R&D, technology, manufacturing, energy, or similarly complex environments is beneficial, but not required
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is considered an advantage
