Power Solutions > Product Solutions & Integration > Architecture
The Architecture & Roadmaps department is a small team focused on setting the technical development strategy for Vestas' products. The team defines the overall product architecture, product modularization strategy, propels and integrates product and technology roadmaps in close collaboration with product and module design teams. As part of the architecture team, you will be playing a central role in defining the strategy for how Vestas' modular products can evolve over time to deliver full flexibility in fit to market needs while at the same time keeping a light and efficient value chain.

 

Responsibilities
Depending on your particular set of competencies, your responsibilities could include technical leadership in one, or more, of the following areas:

  • Ideation and concept generation in collaboration with module design teams
  • Cross-module and value chain feasibility studies and concept shortlisting
  • Development of concepts of operation
  • Carry over and carry forward strategies
  • Definition and change management of module interfaces and / or configuration modules
  • Guiding module selection in product roadmap studies

 
Qualifications 
You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar, with at least 5 years of work experience. In addition, you have: 

  • Experience working on complex product structures and possibly in a modular context
  • Experience working on a conceptual design level
  • Familiar with system engineering principles
  • Experience from the wind industry would be preferred
  • Fluent in English

This position is in Aarhus. Travel activity expected to be around 20 days per year.
