As a Product Manager for Energy Storage & Hybrids, you will play a key role in shaping Vestas' strategy within one of the fastest-growing segments of the renewable energy industry. You will combine market insights, customer understanding, and commercial acumen to develop product strategies that strengthen Vestas' position in the evolving energy storage and hybrid solutions landscape.

Join our newly established Product Management team dedicated to Energy Storage and Hybrids. We are building Vestas' capabilities in one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving areas of renewable energy, combining market insights, technology understanding, and commercial strategy to shape future products and solutions.
Working across engineering, commercial, service, and strategy functions, we help define Vestas' approach to energy storage integration and hybrid systems while bringing innovative solutions to market. Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Energy Storage & Hybrids, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and Vestas' strategic objectives
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities, customer challenges, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to strengthen Vestas' market position
- Translate commercial, technical, operational, and customer insights into clear product requirements and development priorities
- Develop and maintain robust business cases, including value propositions, financial assessments, and commercial assumptions to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across engineering, service, sales, strategy, and technology functions to develop and deliver competitive solutions
- Engage with customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders to validate market needs and shape future product offerings
- Prioritize and manage product initiatives, balancing customer value, strategic impact, commercial potential, timelines, and resource availability to maximize business outcomes
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, Economics, Energy Systems, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in Product Management, Business Development, Strategy, or a similar role within renewable energy, energy storage, power systems, or a related industry
- Good understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of the energy sector, with the ability to translate market needs into strategic initiatives and product offerings
- Experience developing business cases, evaluating market opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams and engage with customers and industry partners
- A strategic mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, enabling you to navigate complex challenges and identify new growth opportunities
- Experience within energy storage, battery technologies, hybrid energy solutions, grid integration, or power markets is highly valued. Direct experience in these areas will be considered a strong advantage

The primary work location for this position is Aarhus.
Up to 20 days of travel per year.
