Port Specialist

We invite you to join us as a Port Specialist, where you will support the completion of major infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work closely with procurement, technical, logistics, and commercial teams to identify and assess suitable port locations, gather market intelligence, and support the development of efficient logistics solutions. You will build good relationships with port stakeholders across the region while contributing to project proposals and commercial negotiations. Region NCE and Global Offshore > Global Offshore > Global Offshore Operations Logistics

You will be part of the specialist department Operation Logistics Offshore department dealing with crew transfer, accommodation and walk to work vessels, Service, Commissioning ports and Pre Installation ports with focus on Europe and supporting on a global level. You will be based at the office in Aarhus where most of our sales support teams are also based.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Procurement Managers to secure competitive quotations and evaluate supplier offerings
• Coordinate with stakeholders to assess port availability and gather relevant market intelligence
• Work closely with technical subject matter experts to evaluate the suitability of potential installation ports
• Analyse future infrastructure requirements and development plans for port locations
• Develop early-stage logistics concepts and component flow strategies for project execution
• Build and maintain good relationships with port owners, operators, and developers across the region
• Support commercial and sales teams with project proposals, tender submissions, and contract negotiations

Qualifications

• Good contractual and commercial understanding
• Knowledge about complex lifting operations
• Extensive understanding regarding business impact and consequences
• Technical understanding to validate new products and concepts
• Data management understanding to structure market intel
• AutoCAD skills is an advantage
• Fluence in English

This position requires approximately 40 days of global travel per year.
