As part of Vestas' Global Transport organisation, our recently established Transport Business Management department is responsible for strengthening the collaboration between the business and the finance organisations. We contribute to creating a clear understanding of the business and financial development within the Global Supply Chain by using various IT and reporting systems. As a Specialist in Transport Business Management, your main responsibility will be to have a directing role in strengthening the collaboration between the Global Transport, Global Supply Chain, and Group Finance organisation. Further, your tasks will include: 

  • Take ownership of some of the most important parts of the Global Transport and Global Supply Chain reporting
  • Ensuring a proactive process for CAPEX investments incl. stakeholder alignment, training and reporting
  • Initiate cross-functional analyses and preparation of presentations in close dialog with Head of Transport Business Management and Head of Supply Chain Finance
  • Getting in-depth knowledge about linking financial understanding into business impact for a transport spent of more than 1 billion euros


To qualify for the position, we expect that you have:

  • A relevant academic background, e.g. Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or similar
  • 4-6 years of experience from a cross-functional role within a Finance or Supply Chain organisation
  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft packages, SAP and BI 
  • Good communications skills and fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
