Concept and Launch department, within Production Engineering Nacelles in Nacelles Manufacturing, is an important part of innovation, transforming innovation concepts into tangible, high quality products by setting up a strong technical governance. ensuring production readiness and delivering targeted training to equip teams with the skills needed for execution. With a blend of skills, creativity, and precision, we ensure our new products meet our exacting standards from concepts to productions. The department is primarily focusing on development activities in Denmark but is interfacing in a global environment having production facilities across the globe, where support can be needed.
Responsibilities
As the Concept Specialist, you will play an important part in bridging innovative design ideas with practical manufacturing through feasibility study which is supported by a business case. This position supports the development of manufacturing strategies, ensuring new concepts are feasible, scalable, and aligned with our production capabilities. Your knowledge will support and guide teams in turning visionary concepts into actionable plans and production-ready solutions.
- Concept & factory layout development - Evaluate and refine new product, process concepts and layout ensuring alignment with business objectives and manufacturing capabilities
- Feasibility analysis - Conduct in-depth feasibility studies, assessing technical, economic, and operational factors for new concepts
- Process strategy - Define robust manufacturing strategies for new product introductions
- Collaboration - Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to integrate manufacturing considerations into early-stage product development
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Extensive working experience in manufacturing, design and product development, layout development, concept selection, feasibility study or similar role
- Good broad technical foundation, and the ability to pick up new knowledge fast
- Strong ability to conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis
- Good problem-solving skills and an innovative approach to overcoming obstacles
- A team-oriented mindset with good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English both in writing and verbally. Danish language skill is welcomed and would be beneficial in daily communication work

- Keeping deadlines and having quality in focus and don't give in when things can be tough
- Being able to speak up if something is not right!
- Act responsibly and promote changes if necessary
- Question the way we work and initiate the change if needed
- Have a good understanding of matrix organizational setups, in order to efficiently communicate with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders
- Have the patience to listen to, understand and respect your colleagues
