The Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (EPPM) Team resides in Global Supply Chain & Transport. EPPM focuses on offshore customer projects and is an execution body of offshore readiness plans and risk mitigation on project and portfolio levels. The key driver behind the EPPM team is to ensure early engagement in projects through engagement with the value chain creating relevant overviews and facilitating planning progress of the end-to-end plans for a balanced project execution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning Facilitation & Coordination: Facilitate the planning of complex offshore projects, ensuring alignment across functions on timelines, budgets, and resources, from design through service
  • Sales Phase Value Adding: Drive frontloading of value chain planning into the Sales Phase, collaborating with the Sales Deal Team, focusing on a balanced and risk-managed approach to planning and planning interfaces, e.g. related to technical scope and its commercial impact
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain robust partnerships with sales regions, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project planning lifecycle
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify planning interface risks and challenges in project planning and execution, facilitating mitigation strategies and solutions across functions.
  • Cross-functional Interface Ownership: Take ownership of the value chain’s cross-functional interfaces, supporting functions to grow together, take strategic initiatives and connect key processes, aligning project planning with broader business goals and customer expectations
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor project and portfolio progress, evaluate performance against metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure effective project outcomes

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain planning, engineering, project management, or a related field
  • Project & Sales Experience: Proven history of record in project planning and management for large-scale offshore, energy, or infrastructure projects, including involvement in sales processes
  • Negotiation Experience: Experience in conducting complex negotiations, particularly in the context of turbine supply and service agreements, for offshore/onshore wind
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard contracts (e.g., Yellow FIDIC Book) and a background in navigating complex, long-term sales processes and project delivery in a matrix organization
  • Risk Management: Experience in handling high-stakes projects, managing uncertainty, and making decisions in complex, fast-paced environments

Additional information 

Location: Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark. 

This position requires approximately 20 days of travel per year.
