The Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (EPPM) Team resides in the Global Supply Chain. EPPM specializes in offshore customer projects and focuses on connecting delivery plans and risk mitigation at both the project and portfolio levels. The key focus behind the EPPM team is to ensure delivery on our commitments in customer projects through engagement with the entire value chain, creating relevant analyses, overviews, and facilitating the cross-functional planning process of end-to-end plans for balanced project delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning Facilitation & Coordination: Facilitate the planning of complex offshore projects, ensuring alignment across functions on timelines, budgets, and resources, from design through service
  • Planning Value Adding: Implement frontloading of value chain planning across project maturity phases, collaborating with the specific functions, focusing on a balanced and risk-managed approach to planning and planning interfaces, e.g. related to technical scope and its commercial impact
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain robust partnerships with specific functions, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project planning lifecycle
  • Risk & Issue Management: Regularly assess potential risks and barriers during project planning, promoting effective solutions and strategies across various teams
  • Cross-functional Interface Ownership: Take ownership of specific functions’ cross-functional interfaces, supporting the function(s) to grow together, take strategic initiatives and connect key processes, aligning project planning with broader business goals and customer expectations
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor project planning progress, evaluate performance against metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure effective project outcomes

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain planning, engineering, project management, or a related field
  • Project Experience: Extensive experience in project planning and management for large-scale offshore, energy, or infrastructure projects, including involvement in sales or construction execution processes
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard contracts (e.g., Yellow FIDIC Book) and a background in navigating complex, long-term implementation processes and project delivery in a matrix organization
  • Risk Management: Experience in handling high-stakes projects, managing uncertainty, and making decisions in complex, high-pressure environments

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, persuade senior leadership, and ensure collaboration across functions and organizational levels

  • Communication & Negotiation: Advanced communication and negotiation skills, capable of persuading internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving abilities and a consistent approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions that balance business and customer needs

Additional information 

Location: Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark. 

This position requires approximately 20 days of travel per year.
