Our team provides monitoring and automation for the network within Vestas as well as the turbine parks we service, and we need your help to keep up with the growth. We strive to provide a platform for monitoring and automation which enables our users to provide more value with less effort, whether the users prefer E2E consultancy services or doing pull-requests. The team is DevOps and based in both Denmark and the Philippines.

Responsibilities

  • You'll be driving the development and enhancement of the monitoring and observability area doing designs and implementations for the long term
  • Engage with users and customers and contribute to roadmaps
  • Work with the team to improve implementation quality and maturity
  • Ensure architecture information is well-documented, up-to-date, and communicated to the relevant stakeholders
  • Support in developing technical solutions based on customer requirements
  • Cooperate with other architects in the area to deliver the best solution as a team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, ideally within infrastructure, monitoring, or automation
  • Solid hands-on experience with Linux and open source technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools and protocols such as SNMP, OpenTelemetry, syslog, Grafana, and ETL
  • Familiarity with coding/scripting and software development practices
  • Experience with writing accessible and structured documentation (both technical and high-level)
  • Understanding of networking principles, preferably supported by certification
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet is a plus

This allows us to offer a large degree of flexibility as we cover the entire world with our services, and the possibility to have days working from home.

Additional information 

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark. For this to work effectively, you can be based anywhere in Denmark, as long as you're able to travel to Aarhus on a monthly basis.
