Do you have a great interest in supply chains and optimising best practices in a global setting? Would you like to contribute to our sustainable energy solutions? We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about Supply Chain and has proven work experience to join our Global Planning team.

Be part of a highly committed supply chain planning team, that aims at optimising the supply chain by balancing capacity & supply and delivering projects fully optimised. The department consists of 10 employees responsible for developing and running the master plans for Vestas’ factories. You work in a global environment with interfaces to the regional planning teams in Asia, Europe, and America as well as global functions primarily in Procurement, Manufacturing and R&D.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build the global master plans in respect of demand and capacity, including new product introduction 
  • Actively engage stakeholders across the value chain for buy-in through transparent, effective, and timely communication
  • Assess performance on plan execution in the regions, evaluate risk and opportunities
  • Run different supply chain scenarios balancing capacity and demand including financial impact of costs and inventory
  • Create and present relevant material for senior management 
  • Support the workstreams on continuous improvement within the Vestas value chain

 

Qualifications
We imagine that you have a master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Development Engineering or similar. 
Moreover, we value the following qualifications:

  • Experience in working with complex supply chains in a global environment with many balls in the air, being able to adapt to many changes
  • Good understanding of supply chain impact on financial parameters
  • Cross-cultural awareness and experience from a global matrix organisation
  • High level of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral)

  • You have great analytical skills
  • Great communication skills (both oral and written) and should be comfortable presenting to all levels within the organization
  • You know how to cooperate with your stakeholders efficiently at all levels by building and maintaining relations
  • You can keep the overall perspective in time-sensitive situations and have a pragmatic approach to solving complex situations
  • You are mainly team-oriented, but still able to demonstrate enthusiasm for taking on responsibility and achieving results on your own
  • You are self-motivated and eager to learn
