Global Marketing Engagement in the Global Marketing department is focused on delivering the best possible experience, regardless of the channel through which we reach a stakeholder. Since we manage both online and offline marketing execution channels, we reach a wide range of stakeholders directly, including prospects, customers, analysts, authorities, financiers, NGOs and the broader public in general.

We need a Marketing & Engagement Consultant to support and enhance Vestas’ presence both online (i.e. social media) and offline (i.e. events). Regarding online activities, the focal point will be on the execution support to social media. Concerning offline responsibilities, these include driving or supporting activities such as contents seminars, customer visits, events, tradeshows and hospitality focused sponsorships. You will be a cornerstone in delivering high-quality experiences for our customers and stakeholders worldwide. 

Overall, we have developed and progressed the maturity by which we run stakeholder engagement programs and activities in recent years, and we expect you to contribute further to this positive development. 

To succeed in this position, you will need to be versatile and keep an open mind towards a broad range of activities. In addition, it is important to be highly service-minded and have an interest in collaborating closely with a broad range of stakeholders across regions and functions.


  • Support the social media execution on corporate channels in close dialogue with the head of SoMe
  • Support contents creation, maintenance and reporting of our social media presence
  • Plan, execute and host customer visits to Denmark in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors, and in accordance with Vestas’ processes and policies
  • Support planning and execution of corporate/global sponsorships with hospitality programs
  • Support planning and execution of several European tradeshows, events and seminars
  • Co-drive continuous improvement of the global processes and infrastructure, supporting all Global Marketing Engagement activities such as feedback management, knowledge sharing, stakeholder management etc.
  • Provide administrative support with budget tracking, reporting and performance management


  • You probably have a relevant degree at BSc or MSc level
  • Strong coordinating skills, ability to deliver in a professional and timely manner
  • Commercial-minded person that understands the business (understanding of/experience from the energy market is a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written
  • Fluent in English verbally and written. Mastering additional languages is an advantage
  • Financial and technical acumen is preferred
  • Experience in meeting facilitation/ event organisation
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.)

Additional information
Your primary work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark - the job is part time, approximately 30 hours per week. You can expect some national travel activity, and periods of high workload can occur.
