Global IT is a large-scale enterprise covering all areas: from IT strategy, business engagement and capturing to project implementations, infrastructure operations, service integration between vendors and end-user support.

The Project & Portfolio Management organisation (PMO) in Global IT is a newly established functional area, where we have gathered all our colleagues who are handling projects to build and have a center of excellence. This newly established department called Project Execution consists of project managers ranging from associate level to highly skilled and experienced senior project managers.

To make this become a reality, we are looking for a Manager to supervise a team of Association Project Managers within the Project Execution department.



  • You will supervise a team of Associate Project Managers as your direct reports.

  • You will play a central role in building the organisation by selecting and retaining Associate Project Managers for the assignments they are a match for.

  • People development: assist/coach/guide every individual to both grow and thrive, as well as making sure that each person has annual performance targets, so we promote an execution mindset, keep high standards and reach the business goals.

  • Strategic and resource planning: align the milestones with business strategy and see ahead which resources are necessary  ensuring that we have the right skill base to staff the projects.
  • Project delegation: delegate the assignments and follow up.
  • Communication and facilitate collaboration: ensure a project management network as well as ensuring business proximity through a close collaboration with IT business partners.



  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Communication, IT, Business Management or relevant academic educational background combined with leadership experience.
  • Experience from large organisations with global delivery models delivering complex solutions.
  • Extensive experience within project management having a broad knowledge of theory and discipline within the field.
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken.


Good to have skills

  • Planned larger transitions including change management.
  • Planned and secured delivery of many parallel activities at the agreed quality and in due time.
  • Formal education/certifications in leadership and project management such as PMP/PJMP/Prince2/Agile.
  • Experience with or knowledge of the following software technologies: SAP, S/4 Hana, Salesforce, Cloud, AWS / Azure / Cloud.



  • An outgoing 'can-do' attitude and personality to inspires and make multiple ends meet.
  • Proven capabilities in developing people and align activities according to roadmaps.
  • Someone who thrives on creating agility out of chaos, and can do it with a smile.
  • You are an efficient communicator who can motivate and encourage both employees in own team as well as stakeholders.
  • You aim to develop a team which always focuses on delivering to the promises as well as an environment in which 'Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity & Passion' are the natural values for all behavior in the team.
  • You have a structured personal and self-management working style.
  • It is key that you have demonstrated that you can deliver a high-level of communication and interpersonal skills which cultivate, bring out the best in people and maintain relationships.
