Department
As a Pre-Installation Lift & Logistic Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our offshore execution team, collaborating closely to assemble and prepare the main components for our installation and commissioning team. It is crucial that you adhere to Vestas Offshore Wind's safety and quality standards.
You will engage with various members of the construction team, including the commissioning and installation team, QA/QC team, sub-contractors, and client construction teams. Your role involves participating in all pre-installation tasks, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Pre-Installation lift and transport operations with the contractor, covering on-site activities and transport deliveries
  • Optimise the planning and utilization of lift and transport equipment for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure all lifting and transport equipment is ready, certified, and in good condition
  • Resolve technical issues and potential breakdowns related to lift and transport operations
  • Maintain and update required lifting and transport documentation
  • Supervise lifting activities to ensure adherence to plans, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Communicate new safety and Pre-Installation notifications to staff, e.g., during Tool Box Talks

 

Qualifications

  • Focus on your role to ensure effective project completion
  • Maintain a high focus on quality and health and safety awareness onsite
  • Stay updated throughout the project and communicate effectively
  • Be prepared to handle situations or issues that arise onsite
  • Be aware of local laws and legislation
  • Possess good English and IT skills, along with experience in lifting operations

Additional information
Primary work location: You can be based anywhere in Denmark.
This position requires approximately 180 days of global travel per year.
