Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) is the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, encompassing the full industrial value chain — from Research & Development, Procurement and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. VTO’s mission is to transform the way Vestas engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet the highest standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.

The Quality Management Office (QMO) within Vestas Quality is responsible for enabling quality performance improvements and driving the company’s quality transformation agenda across the organization.

Within QMO, the Quality Training & Competency team plays a key role in supporting the adoption of global quality processes and strategy. The team delivers role‑based, performance‑focused learning solutions and drives effective change and engagement through targeted communication. By working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business, the team ensures that quality principles are embedded into daily operations and continuously strengthened across the value chain.

 

Responsibilities

As Learning Specialist, you will drive engagement, awareness, and adoption of global Quality processes by combining learning solutions, content creation, and change communication.

  • Develop and deliver engaging learning and communication content for the Quality Academy and key Quality initiatives
  • Plan and drive learning and engagement campaigns, events, and sessions that build quality awareness and culture across Vestas
  • Manage and continuously improve Quality communication channels, communication flow, and communities to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams to create clear, impactful, and user‑focused content
  • Create high‑quality content including articles, posts, storyboards, videos, and learning materials, including hands‑on video production and editing
  • Advice on simplification of global procedures and documentation with an emphasis on end‑user needs and performance

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience gained in a complex, global or matrix organization
  • A relevant Master’s degree within Learning, Communication, Educational Science, or a related field
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences
  • A strong learning and engagement toolbox, including experience with content creation, communication planning, and learning solutions
  • Proven ability to work independently and confidently with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is beneficial

 

Competencies

  • Strong digital and content development skills, including video shooting and editing, SharePoint, and MS 365 applications
  • Ability to translate complex change and processes into clear, motivating, and relatable messages
  • Proven capability to design learning experiences that support employees in performing their roles more effectively, with a strong focus on practical application, performance support, and measurable outcomes
  • Skilled in developing communication and engagement strategies that support behavior change through audience‑centered storytelling
  • Excellent ability to simplify complexity and make information relevant and accessible.
  • Effective collaboration and partnering skills, working effectively with leaders, subject‑matter experts, and project teams
  • Strategic use of a mix of communication and learning channels to reach employees where they are
  • Uses data, feedback, and insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness and drive adoption
