EVP Area Service – Global Business Improvement – Lean Operations 
Service Lean Operations is a small team within the broader Business Improvement group in Vestas Service that has two main goals.
The first is to support Operations in standardizing and optimizing field operations by applying Lean methods and mindset. This is done in close collaboration with our global Lean team, located in Vestas's regions.
The second goal is to coordinate strategic, global Lean projects. In these projects we apply a well-proven combination of Lean, problem-solving methodologies, excellent project management and stakeholder management skills to support the strategy execution in Vestas' service business.

 

Responsibilities
In the role as Lean Specialist, you will support both goals of the team with an emphasis on project management, analysis, and communication. Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing scoped projects for execution
  • Carry out Lean/Cost-Out projects
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional workshops and teams
  • Reduce operational costs through Lean/Six Sigma/Cost-Out project completion
  • Be a good promoter for progress and improvement
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications
To achieve your goals in this position, we expect that you have:

  • Academic degree at Bachelor level or higher
  • Preferably certification within one of the recognized project management frameworks like Prince2, PMI, IPMA
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with change management and implementation 
  • Ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people

  • Can communicate and interact in a natural way with both field technicians and executive management level
  • Can build and validate business cases by connecting improvement with operational and financial performance
  • Have creative problem-solving skills
  • Can create impact & receive buy-in from management teams and functional teams
  • Have high proficiency in English - both written and spoken
  • Know how to build an effective slide deck with a clear and concise storyline
  • Are proficient in Excel and PowerBI

Additional information
Work location: You will be based in our office from Dusager 4, Aarhus, Denmark. For this position up to 30 days of national and international traveling is expected.
