Are you enthusiastic about leading quality assurance in the renewable energy sector? Join Vestas as a Lead Specialist in our Global Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) team. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our quality processes meet the highest standards and supporting our strategic goals across the value chain.

Global Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) team is a part of Global Vestas Quality Management System. We ensure the overall end-to-end Vestas Quality Assurance and Control Process Performance to satisfy customer expectations, in line with the Vestas Strategy and Values. We also govern the integrated QHSE Management System in line with the Quality Strategy, ISO 9001 and aligned with HSE, including 14001 and 45001, to support the strategic and operational goals of the organization, across the value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as Global Subject Matter Expert for Measurement & Calibration in close collaboration along the value chain and throughout all levels
  • Refine, deploy and continuously improve Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Calibration of tools and related procedures across the value chain in close collaboration with VPS (R&D) and the operational Functions
  • Collaborate with local representatives to ensure Function and local specific requirements are considered in the process/procedures
  • Oversee all measurement activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with Management on the calibration program, including scheduling, documentation and traceability (EAM + SAP/One-tool)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality teams to maintain high standards of measurement accuracy


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 5+ years of proven experience in measurement and calibration
  • ISO 9001-certified with high knowledge around it
  • Six Sigma certification / Project Management certification is an added advantage, not mandatory
  • Good and effective communication skills (English will be the baseline language)


Competencies

  • Measurement System analysis (MSA) competence
  • Understanding ISO 17025:2005 standards and GMP (Good manufacturing Practice) principle
  • Understanding of the structure and the purpose of the Management system
  • Good knowledge about ISO 9001 and basic about 14001, respectively 45001
  • Knowledge about ASTM E2782-17
  • Solid Process knowledge and a strategic mindset
  • Be able to collaborate and influence others
