Lead Specialist, Cost Manager

Are you ready to join our Power Solution Costing Team, being responsible for a continuous and transparent tracking of Cost Performance across Vestas’ mature and new products. In this role you will take lead in ensuring objective and transparent information for decision-makers in the business and senior management.

In this role you will lead continuous Performance Management of our Module Cost with our Cross-functional Leadership teams, covering Procurement, Manufacturing and Technology. This entails creation of transparent cost estimates, while keeping stakeholders accountable for target gaps and follow-up.

We are looking for a person that combines working with stakeholders as a business partner with the capability to work in a structured manner with stakeholders across the Vestas Value-chain.

Responsibilities

• Finance lead in Vestas' Cross-functional Module Ownership Teams
• Lead Continuous Cost Performance Reviews at Module Level
• Lead Continuous and Transparent tracking of Cost Out at Module Level for both mature and new products.
• Secure overall validation of financial impact of Cost Out Business Cases in each Modules
• Facilitation of continuous development on cost tracking, building and providing transparency on cost baseline

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in Performance Management, Cost Engineering, Cost Management, Business Finance or similar
• Several years' experience in cross-functional settings

• Excellent Communicator
• Analytical and conceptual skills
• Pro-active approach
• Experience in Excel and PPT preferred
