Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing> Manufacturing Nacelles PM
Manufacturing Nacelles Project Management delivers projects for Vestas' global nacelle manufacturing footprint by efficiently planning and executing the Manufacturing project portfolio in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way.
We are a team of 15 project managers headed from Denmark but located in multiple geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We are hiring a Project Manager to primarily manage offshore customer specific projects in manufacturing. Currently we have a group of project managers handling each individual offshore project, with the focus of ensuring that the customer specific requirements coming from offshore customers as product design changes through R&D are matured and that the production basis is delivered to the relevant factories on time and in quality. The new position will consolidate overall for the offshore projects towards R&D and leadership in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with Offshore Transformation Program Manager to consolidate across individual offshore customer projects being introduced in Manufacturing
- Oversee projects of moderate complexity, taking full responsibility for several workstreams
- Delivery of agreed project results within the tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks and benefits- Lead, Plan, execute and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders and raise concerns when appropriate
- Full responsibility for complex and strategic projects, from project initiation through project closure and confirmed handover to business
- Developing and leading robust project organizations, managing all aspects of the project across the value chain with project management best practices and in compliance with Vestas project processes
- Ensure thorough estimation and planning of resources across the organization with regard to project deliverables and plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline or engineering, or equal qualifications obtained from relevant work experience
- IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate- 3+ years project management experience
- Previously responsible for 1 mEUR+ capital expenditures projects
- Proficient communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
- Know-how from the wind industry will be an advantage, but it is not a must
