Through innovation, development and continuous product improvement, Power Solutions develop the products and technologies that reduce the cost of energy and bring the highest possible value to our customers. Test & Verification in Power Solutions is responsible for meeting the future demand for test capabilities to verify our onshore and offshore products, modules and components both at our field test sites and in our test facilities globally. You will join 100+ skilled colleagues in Test & Verification, divided into several sub-departments at various offices and test facilities globally. We are involved in the complete product development process from product requirements, definition of verification plans and test procedures to test execution and reporting.
You will specifically join the Performance Testing team consisting of 18 highly skilled engineers and specialist working out of our headquarter in Aarhus. We service the whole Vestas organization with our specialized knowledge and extensive capabilities within the areas of Loads & Power Performance, Grid Compliance, Noise & Vibration, Power Electronics and EMC testing. In the position as Lead Measurement Engineer you will lead and optimize the measurement system design and implementation on our turbine prototypes in the field and for module and component testing in our world leading test facilities.



  • Responsible for being Technical lead on measurement system projects and development activities incorporating up to 1000 signals
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within new measurement technologies, digitalization, automation and standardization
  • Deliver technical solutions within scope, time, and cost target of the projects
  • Utilize operational scalability from planning to execution through collaboration with internal resources and external suppliers
  • Responsible for quality assurance with focus on process compliance, measurement uncertainties and documentation
  • Responsible for coordinating tasks, including external suppliers as well as outsourcing of tasks



  • B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E, Marine Engineer or other relevant education
  • You may have experience as an Electrician, Electro mechanic or Automation technician
  • You should have technical and team leadership experience
  • You should have a confident technical understanding within trouble shooting
  • And you should hold relevant knowledge in Technical IT skills such as, NI LabVIEW, Fieldbus, network, protocols, hardware
  • You should have experience with Electrical documentation 
  • Good Technical English written and spoken (German would be beneficial)



  • You should be team orientated, and have the ability to take the lead and use your own initiative 
  • You should have able to effectively multi-task and coordinate serval stakeholders simultaneously while still being able to prioritize your workload 
  • You should have good communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • You should be able to thrive in a large organization where work shifts between focused engineering, developing documentation and periods of traveling on site for installation. 
  • You should be able to work from a customer perspective and understand the business and value chain

Primary work location: Aarhus, Dk
This position requires approximately 20 – 30 travel days per year.
