The department is part of Vestas’ Global Offshore organisation, where you will join a dedicated team of more than 500 colleagues committed to delivering world-class offshore services to our customers. Our work spans the full offshore value chain from strategy and operational excellence to Health & Safety, technical support, and the execution of service activities on offshore wind turbines. Together, we play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of offshore wind assets across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Act as the operational link between site supervisors, installation teams, and the Lead Site Coordinate daily installation activities and support the Lead Site Manager with operational planning
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance standards across site operations
- Act as the key link between supervisors, technicians, and project stakeholders
- Manage daily reporting, handovers, timesheet approvals, and project documentation
- Support team performance, development, and motivation
- Plan and coordinate mobilization, demobilization, and installation kick-offs
- Implement process improvements and provide operational updates to site leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of offshore installation experience
- Strong commitment to HSEQ standards, promoting a safety-first and quality-driven culture
- Proactive and solution-oriented problem solver
- Able to remain structured and professional in fast-paced, high-activity environments
- Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Collaborative team player who values inclusivity and partnership
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate, develop, and support high-performing teams
Competencies
- Lead, coach, and motivate the supervisor team, setting the standard for safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Oversee the daily installation of wind turbine generators (WTGs), ensuring safe and efficient execution of site activities
- Coordinate installation activities with key stakeholders, including Pre-Installation, Quality, and Commissioning teams
- Provide operational leadership and regular progress updates to the Lead Site Manager
- Ensure compliance with Vestas processes, quality requirements, and safety standards
- Manage and complete project documentation, ensuring accurate and timely handover to relevant stakeholders
- Drive collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across the installation team

Additional information
Primary work location: This candidate can be based in either Denmark, Ireland or UK.
This position requires up to 180 days travel per year on rotational basis.
