Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Module Quality & Customization, as part of Applications, Controls & Electrical.
Our department is responsible for the customized development activities in power system engineering and controls.
Responsibilities
As a Functional Lead for the Module - Quality & Customization, your responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Assessing site-specific market requirements, designing, and reviewing concepts, and implementing tailored solutions to meet market needs
- Overseeing the entire lifecycle and maintenance of delivered software products, including hypercare and issue resolution
- Undertaking the certification process for Power Plant Controller
- Addressing critical and serious incidents by providing solutions and performing backporting
- Establishing a robust design and testing process
- Implementing a closed-loop quality evaluation and enhancement system
- Handling software lifecycle management effectively
Qualifications
Your qualifications include:
- Possess a bachelor’s or master's degree in power systems or a PhD with a focus on power systems applications
- Extensive experience of at least 10+ years in a similar position
- Proficient in Model-Based Development (MBD) processes and software development
- Capable of comprehending and interpreting intricate grid code requirements
- Experienced in collaborating with modern software engineering teams and familiar with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
