We are responsible for developing new products and ongoing improving security and functional capabilities for the standard offerings for Wind Park IT/OT network infrastructure. Our products are used globally for supporting SCADA (data acquisition and control). We are responsible for designing end-to-end delivery of communication infrastructure products in collaboration with Digital Solutions and Service organization and responsible for governance on processes and procedures that enables operational excellence throughout the lifecycle of the Vestas products.

As Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and security of the underlying infrastructure supporting SCADA Integration platform and Network Security Infrastructure. You will be responsible for testing efforts for Infrastructure Hardware components, develop test plans, execute test cases, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks. Your role will involve working with complex network and server architectures, virtualization platforms, and network & cybersecurity measures to ensure the robustness and performance of SCADA integration platform infrastructure.


Responsibilities 

• Define test goals, scope, and methodologies ensuring thorough coverage of infrastructure reliability
• Oversee the execution of various tests
• Facilitate the development and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools customized for SCADA and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to integrate testing of infrastructure components
• Identify, document, and track infrastructure defects throughout the testing lifecycle, prioritizing and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure testing processes, methodologies, and tools
   

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent) in IT, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or similar
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in testing infrastructure components in the field of industrial automation or SCADA systems
• Thorough understanding of network architectures, server technologies, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cybersecurity principles
• Certified for ISTQB foundation and proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g.,Python, Ansible, PowerShell) Is a plus

Additional information
The working location could be at the Vestas Design Center in Aarhus, Denmark or Porto, Portugal. You should expect up to 10 travelling days per year.
