Digital Solutions > Global IT > User Productivity & Digital Foundation
The User Productivity & Digital Foundation (UPDF) department ensures that business requirements and related solutions are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle. We take responsibility for our solutions and interact directly with both development and daily operations. UPDF ensures continuous improvement and utilization of our environment in order to maximize value and reduce risk.

 

Responsibilities
As an IT Security Architect you will not only influence the future security solutions in Vestas - you are also designing, building and documenting them, and thereby making sure Vestas has the best possible future solutions. You will participate in defining strategies, laying budgets, completing the job and you will work with colleagues and consultants both within the Security domain and across other areas to coordinate and utilize synergies.

 

As an IT Security Architect lead for your area you will be responsible for:
•    Design, build, document, deploy and optimize a global and complex landscape
•    Ensuring optimal utilization of best practice and global standards
•    Engage with Vestas Security Operations Center and other stakeholders for adoption and optimization of the Security platforms
•    Updating the Security roadmap
•    Laying and keeping budget for your area
•    Providing knowledge and expertise as security consultant when needed
•    Engaging with our vendors and deliver solutions in collaboration with them

 

Qualifications
You understand that IT is a business driver and can demonstrate your enterprise and commercial view on IT. You will be working with the latest technology, and both your technical and people skills will be challenged every day. It is important that you can work across different organizations and on many organizational levels. 

 

The ideal qualified candidate has the following qualifications and experience:
•    Specialist technical skills in IT Security area, ideally familiar with some of the platforms Vestas uses such as Microsoft Azure/Defender platforms, MS Sentinel, Tenable, McAfee ENS/EDR and ServiceNow Security platforms
•    Solid understanding of the interaction and integration between different technologies, such as API security, Federation etc.
•    A thorough interest in and understanding of how IT is related and adds value to the business
•    Fluent in English both orally and written
