Vestas' Global Service business was spun out as a separate business unit during 2014 due to the growing commercial and strategic significance of the service business. Our corporate strategy, "Profitable Growth for Vestas", outlines specific growth targets for the service sector over the next three years. To achieve such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially and operationally.
The Global Service Planning Excellence team supports sustainable growth and profitability through advanced operations intelligence, process adherence and planning excellence optimisation and standardisation.
Responsibilities
You will lead a small team of specialists and professionals within different geographical areas who work constantly on increasing the planning excellence maturity within resource & planning optimisation.
The tasks you will perform will include
- Lead and develop a Global team of specialists and professionals
- Implement global alignment, standardisation, documentation, and execution of Capacity Planning (CAPLA / Workforce Planning), Levelling, Time registration, Sub-contractor management, and other aspects related to Resource & Planning Optimisation
- Deliver support to Vestas' internal OnePlan activities like IWOS (Intelligent Work Order Scheduling)
- Create and maintain related processes and training materials
- Ensure up-to-date and relevant performance dashboards (Power BI, etc.) to assess the impact of implementation
- Continue to develop and execute the Resource & Planning Optimisation roadmap
- Support operational costs reduction by implementing best practices within Resource & Planning Optimisation
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we anticipate that you possess
- Academic degree Bachelor's level or higher
- At least 5-10 years of experience in Change Management and Stakeholder Management
- Min 3-5 years of experience as a people manager
Competencies
We expect you to possess influence, persuasiveness, managerial and interpersonal skills. Moreover, we hope you will have
- Experience with management, change management and implementation in a global environment
- Experience contributing to global improvements and standardisation using best practices
- Solid skills in implementing and facilitating processes
- Ability to create impact & connect with service regions, global support functions and our workforce
- Highly effective written and spoken communication skills in English, coupled with knowledge of the principal language specific to your country or region

Additional information
Your work location can be in one of our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany, but other Vestas’ locations can be considered. You can expect up to 30 travel days per year for this role.
