The Head of Process & System Training is a Director level position responsible for building the human capability system that enables Vestas Manufacturing & Operations to sustainably achieve world-class performance. The role owns the architecture, governance, standards and deployment of all manufacturing and logistics capability development systems. The mission is to ensure that every employee from operator to Plant Director possesses the competencies, behaviors and leadership capabilities required to execute the Vestas Production System and support future business growth.

You will:
- Own and govern the Manufacturing Capability System, establishing global standards for workforce qualification, certification, skills development, and capability progression.
- Design and optimize operator development programs, including onboarding, certification pathways, instructor excellence, train-the-trainer initiatives, and learning validation frameworks.
- Lead technical capability growth through expert certification programs, SME communities, knowledge management systems, and best-practice sharing across manufacturing operations.
- Design and lead leadership development journeys for manufacturing leaders at all levels, from Team Leaders and Supervisors to Plant Managers and Manufacturing Executives.
- Build critical leadership capabilities in VPS (Vestas Production System) leadership, coaching, Gemba leadership, problem solving, change management, and talent development to strengthen organizational performance and succession readiness.
- Drive organizational learning excellence by establishing systems for knowledge capture, knowledge transfer, learning effectiveness measurement, and the scalable sharing of best practices across manufacturing operations.
- Partner with VPS, Lean, Digital Manufacturing, and Business Process Excellence teams to drive strategic transformation, accelerate capability adoption, and embed continuous improvement across global manufacturing operations.
What We Are Looking For:
A dedicated training professional with Large-scale Manufacturing training organizations.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years in manufacturing capability development.
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Learning & Development or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and systems.
- Proven experience in training/capability development in an industrial environment.
- Experience working across multiple plants and cultures.
- Strong project and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Experience developing both blue-collar and leadership populations.
