Service > Global Service Supply Chain > One Tool Unit 
One Tool Unit represents Vestas' latest initiative, which was established to oversee the ownership, operation, and coordination of a diverse collection of tools utilized by internal stakeholders throughout Vestas' value chain. This includes tools used in construction, Service, and repairs, as well as servicing our Wind Turbines. One Tool Unit focuses on providing the right quality tools and tool services at the right time and place, on the right price with a high focus on safety. Responsibilities
You will: 

  • Agree on, implement, and monitor performance management and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with internal customers across different divisions in the region
  • Ensure tools performance reviews and ongoing monitoring/updating of targets
  • Be in charge of regional tools centre operations according to main KPIs within safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Be responsible for coordinating regional operational short-term planning of tools within the overarching Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) framework
  • Stipulate and deploy strategic initiatives, support global & regional business on the strategy implementation
  • Manage regional logistic tools distribution footprint and ensure regional end-to-end inventory management, enabling optimal tools utilization and inventory sharing within the region, as well as with other regions/divisions
  • Build and strengthen the regional organization to ensure a well-motivated, results-oriented team able to handle the substantial growth of Vestas
     

Qualifications
Moreover, we expect that you have:

  • Master's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, organizational science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years of management experience within a complex matrix organization; this is a prerequisite 
  • International experience in a global multicultural environment is not a prerequisite but is advantageous
  • Experience in management disciplines, such as strategy development, change management, employee survey engagement, customer relationship management, business cases development, lean manufacturing, supply chain management, or similar
  • Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Microsoft packages, SAP, BI or equivalent EPR knowledge

Additional information
The location is Aarhus, but we are open to other places in Denmark. For this position, you must travel up to 80 days per year in different regions where we have warehouses.
