The Head of Nacelles Excellence role is responsible accountable for shaping and advancing the global competitiveness strategy across Vestas' manufacturing and warehouse network. This role drives the identification, standardization, and deployment of world-class operational practices, ensuring consistent performance excellence while closing competitiveness gaps across regions and sites. As the organization's senior authority on operational competitiveness, the Senior Director combines industrial benchmarking, operational diagnostics, manufacturing intelligence, and large-scale transformation leadership to deliver sustainable business impact. The role owns the continuous improvement of manufacturing and internal logistics performance across the global footprint and leads specialized intervention teams ("Delta Forces") to rapidly address underperformance, accelerate operational recovery, and strengthen long-term capability and resilience. You will define and drive the strategy that enables our manufacturing network to perform at its highest potential.
You Will:

Own the competitiveness agenda across a global manufacturing and warehouse footprint.

Identify, benchmark, and deploy best-in-class operational practices that drive measurable business value.

Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost performance, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency.

Serve as Vestas' senior authority on manufacturing and internal logistics competitiveness, providing expert guidance to senior leaders across the business.

Leverage operational diagnostics, industrial intelligence, and data-driven insights to uncover performance opportunities and accelerate results.

Drive complex transformation programs that deliver sustainable performance improvements across regions and functions.

Lead specialized intervention teams ("Delta Forces") to rapidly stabilize and improve underperforming operations.

Partner with executive stakeholders to align operational strategy with broader business objectives and long-term growth plans.

Build organizational capability by embedding continuous improvement, operational excellence, and performance-driven culture throughout the network.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an influential, highly analytical, and results-oriented leader with a proven track record of transforming manufacturing organizations on a global scale.
What You Bring:

Engineering degree required; Master's degree preferred.

12–15+ years in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Excellence, or Plant Leadership.

Significant senior leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, or operational excellence.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational transformations across multiple sites, regions, or business units.

Deep expertise in manufacturing competitiveness, lean operations, continuous improvement, and performance management.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.

A data-driven approach combined with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Experience leading high-performing teams in complex, matrixed, and international organizations.
