The HSE department is focused on making the world a better place today and also on protecting it for future generations. For this purpose, we HSE professionals working for Vestas in the areas of Safety, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Security throughout the world. We are looking for a Health and Safety Environment (HSE) Manager Service Offshore. The HSE Manager will be reporting to Head of HSE - Service NCE.



  • Share and communicate knowledge and innovation
  • Select and retain team members / leaders
  • Set goals, prioritize tasks, delegate and follow up 
  • Coach and develop functional expertise
  • Appraise and improve team performance
  • Identify and involve business stakeholders and break down silos and allocate resources
  • Responsible for department budget and finances



  • Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or Engineering is required
  • Several years of professional experience within HSE in an international work environment and Offshore activities and high seniority in Mechanical / Electrical area - mandatory 
  • Experience as a team lead would be great
  • High proficiency in English is mandatory, German languages would be great
  • Lead auditor in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 – is an advantage



  • High expertise in contractor/subcontractor sustainability management, including mobilization/demobilization, pre-qualification requirements and post-work assessment
  • Expertise in hazard jobsite assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Experience in development/implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE Plans, as well as conducting inspections and audits

Additional Information 
Location: The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark and will cover both Denmark, and Germany.
