Vestas Technology & Operations  > Procurement  > Hub Commodities

​​​​​​​Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management.
This position is related to the Hub Category where we are looking for a new colleague for our team in Aarhus. In the Hub procurement team, we are commercially responsible for Vestas global network of external suppliers of the various Hub components, including blade bearings and hydraulic components.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with the Commodity Team's
  • You will work in a global department and collaborate closely with global and functional resources
  • You will communicate high value information to support data-driven decision-making and execute on both routine and project-oriented tasks related to improving Commodity performance and identification of new opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience with strategic procurement or a degree in either business or engineering
  • High stakeholder management skills 
  • Advanced communication skills including fluent English skills
  • Advanced skills within PPT and Excel required
  • You are a skilled IT user (SAP, SAP ARIBA and Microsoft Office)

 
Competencies

  • Strong capability in communication, presentation and ability to interact effectively on complex strategy and analysis topics with senior stakeholder
  • Result oriented, analytical and structured, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities
  • Effective analytics skills and familiar with data analytics tools, e.g., Excel
  • Able to work with a high degree of execution power, energy and passion
  • High level of integrity and ethics

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark. The role includes up to 30 days of international travel yearly.
