Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) serves as the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, covering the entire industrial value chain-from Research & Development, Procurement, and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. 
To ensure customer centricity and successful delivery of customer projects, VTO operates through a Product Line organization composed of Regional Technology teams supported by Global Functions. This setup manages regional technical front-end activities across the entire customer project lifecycle, while also serving as the ears to the market and the voice of the customer within the broader organization.
Global Power Plant Solutions is one of the Global Functions responsible for enabling the regional technical front-end colleagues with Technical- and Functional Excellence within Cybersecurity, SCADA and Grid connection.

 

Responsibilities

In this global role, you will bring experience working in technical environments and a product-oriented mindset, acting as the primary interface between regional SCADA teams and central functions, including R&D, Service, and Digital Solutions. You will coordinate stakeholders, drive priorities, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

  • Act as the global Product Line focal point for SCADA solutions, connecting regional engineering teams with R&D, Digital Solutions, and other central functions
  • Facilitate and enhance Vestas' approach to capturing, refining, and prioritizing SCADA market, regulatory, and operational requirements
  • Represent regional business needs in global development projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful product delivery
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve SCADA deployment processes, automation capabilities, governance, and operational excellence across regions
  • Manage and facilitate global SCADA communities of practice, driving knowledge sharing, capability building, training, and continuous improvement

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated project or program management experience, including planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and execution of complex initiatives
  • Experience working with complex technical systems, digital technologies, or engineering solutions, ideally within renewable energy, industrial, or other infrastructure-intensive industries. Familiarity with SCADA solutions is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies and international matrix organizations

This position requires approximately 15 days of travel yearly.
