Do you want to help shape the rapidly expanding offshore wind industry? Join Vestas as a Global Offshore Project Planner and play a key role in the on-time delivery of some of the world’s largest renewable energy projects. As part of the Customer Project Execution (CPX) Offshore Planning team, you will help build and maintain the project plans that enable safe, efficient, and on-time execution across our global offshore portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules for large-scale offshore wind projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and key milestones
  • Perform scenario planning and what-if analyses to assess schedule risks, resource constraints, and project impacts
  • Partner with Project Managers, Contract Managers, Engineering, and Construction teams to resolve planning and execution challenges
  • Coordinate planning inputs across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to support integrated project delivery
  • Align project requirements with resource availability and organisational capacity to maximise delivery performance
  • Monitor schedule progress, analyse variances, and provide insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment on priorities, critical path activities, and project milestones to ensure timely and effective execution

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or supply and demand planning within large-scale project environments
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, including schedule development, logic management, coding structures, and dependency planning
  • Solid background in the wind energy, construction, or similar project-driven industries
  • Experience working in complex, international, and cross-functional organisations
  • Good understanding of the commercial and financial impacts of planning decisions and contractual milestones
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and stakeholder presentations
  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Planning, or a related discipline is advantageous

Additional information

Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark

Expected travel: approximately 10 to 15 days per year
