Vestas Technology & Operations is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within R&D, you'll find our department, Plant Innovation as part of Innovation & Concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms for complex industrial applications in Energy Management solutions
• Develop and propose innovative ideas for supervision and control strategies
• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new technologies aimed at optimizing product performance within the Energy System
• Oversee and coordinate project activities, ensuring proper documentation is maintained
• Collaborate and communicate clearly with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
   

Qualifications

Your qualifications include

• Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wind energy engineering or a similar industry
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or equivalent
• Solid experience in software architecture, application/API design, CI/CD processes, and Git workflows
• Practical experience with cloud technologies, including Azure and Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and common cybersecurity practices

Additional information
Work location for this role will be in Aarhus, Denmark.
Up to 20 travel days per year.
