Digital Solutions is the newly consolidated function driving end-to-end digitalization within Vestas. With direct reference into ExM, the function is responsible for improving IT efficiency, integrating digital products further into our customer offering, improving our employees' digital experience, enterprise cyber security and supporting our core processes across the value chain.
Digital Commercial is a supporting the core business area in Vestas's value stream around Opportunity Development and Sales, and our digital capabilities in this area directly impact Vestas's competitiveness in the market. Our team is running continuous improvement of digital products supporting the sales organization. The team has broad engagement across of Vestas' digital landscape, strong commercial capabilities, knowledge of Vestas' products and services, and a drive for digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• The role's primary responsibilities include the ongoing maintenance, development, integration and enhancement of the existing modelling methods, and API architecture.
• Enhance and maintain a number of advanced technical and commercial calculation models.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders in the business to communicate key knowledge and solve mathematical, commercial and financial challenges through system development.
• Drive business implementation, training and support, provide innovation, guidance and best practice for financial modelling in the team.
• Develop strong collaboration with other technical, financial and commercial experts in the organisation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors or Master's degree, which would ideally be a combination of Finance and Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in a commercial or finance related role.
• Programming experience in a business environment.
• Experience with complex project execution and software implementation.
• Proven foundation in the .NET framework along with being comfortable in VB/C#.
• Experience with SQL and inside-out knowledge of Excel.

• You must be fully comfortable working in English.
