 Based in Aarhus, the R&D Finance team is a strategic finance partner to Vestas' R&D organization, enabling informed decision-making through financial business partnering, performance management, and investment transparency.

Working closely with R&D leaders and specialists, the team provides financial insights, challenges assumptions, and supports prioritization across the R&D portfolio to maximize value creation and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support a Senior Vice President area and be an integrated part of the leadership team you partner with. Through financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business case evaluations, you will help shape priorities, drive transparency, and enable informed decisions across Vestas' product development portfolio.

Responsibilities

As a Finance Business Partner, you can expect to undertake the following activities:

• Act as a trusted financial business partner for R&D senior stakeholders across the value chain to ensure financially sound decision making
• Deliver future-oriented financial insights that support timely decisions instead of focusing only on past reporting
• Promote sound financial governance and higher-quality decisions across product development programs and Program Board forums
• Ensure transparency around project performance, value creation, spending, forecasting, and key performance indicators
• Use financial analysis and business knowledge to evaluate assumptions, priorities, and investment decisions
• Oversee the creation and ongoing refinement of business cases that inform product and portfolio decisions

Qualifications

We expect that you can reflect yourself in the following criteria:

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience within Finance Business Partnering, Performance Management, FP&A, Strategy or Consulting
• Demonstrated skill in shaping decisions and collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
• Experience supporting complex projects, portfolios, or product development organizations
• Advanced capabilities in financial modeling, business case preparation, and analytical work
