Manufacturing Finance plays a critical role in improving operational and financial performance across Vestas global manufacturing footprint. We partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and senior leadership teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision making and ensure cost competitiveness.

Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership, improving performance through financial insight, operational knowledge, and fact-based decision support. The role combines deep FP&A and controlling experience with active business partnering to improve performance, identify value creation opportunities and ensure operational improvements are translated into measurable financial impact.

Key Responsibilities / Activities

Business Partnering & Performance Management

•  Act as a trusted finance partner to manufacturing leaders and operational stakeholders
• Facilitate performance conversations by linking operational metrics such as productivity, efficiency, utilization, quality, labor effectiveness, and scrap to financial results
• Challenge performance gaps, assumptions, and underperformance through fact-based analysis and insights
• Support decision-making through clear recommendations and actionable performance improvement opportunities

Performance Improvement & Value Realization

• Partner with factories to identify, evaluate, and prioritize initiatives that improve operational and financial performance
• Quantify operational improvement opportunities and translate them into financial impact through business cases and value-driver-based models
• Develop and maintain models linking operational KPIs to financial results and value creation
• Track implementation progress and benefit realization of improvement initiatives
• Challenge reported results by validating financial performance against underlying operational performance and initiative delivery
• Ensure improvement initiatives have defined targets, measurable benefits, and clear accountability

Strategy, Forecasting & Planning

Support the development of strategy, Group Cost, budget, and monthly forecast processes

Ensure the financial impact of operational performance and improvement initiatives is accurately reflected in forecasts and plans

Evaluate assumptions, risks, opportunities, and delivery schedules to improve the quality of forecasts

Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and target setting

Ensure alignment between operational plans, improvement initiatives, and financial commitments

Cost Control & Financial Governance

• Strengthen transparency and control of manufacturing costs, including fixed costs, labor, inventory, overheads, and CAPEX
• Monitor financial performance against targets and explain variances through operational and financial drivers
• Support investment governance and ensure visibility on spend, benefits, and returns
• Promote effective financial discipline and governance across the manufacturing organization

Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement

• Deliver high-quality reporting, analysis, and decision support to manufacturing leadership
• Provide a consistent view of financial and operational performance, risks, and opportunities
• Translate complex operational and financial information into clear, decision-relevant insights
• Improve standardization, simplification, and automation of reporting, forecasting, and performance management processes
• Contribute to the continuous development of Manufacturing Finance tools, models, and ways of working

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience within FP&A, Business Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Controlling or Management Consulting. Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain organizations
• Extensive experience in performance management, forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with SAP and Power BI
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
