Evergreen - Category Lead Procurement

To strengthen our procurement teams, we are typically often hiring Category Leads within different teams in Procurement. This is not an active job opening, however applying to this role will add you to our talent pool for Category Lead roles in Procurement. In this role, you will contribute to develop and implement a globally aligned strategy for procurement.
Responsibilities
Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:
• Develop and implement strategy and roadmap for the commodity you oversee
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities in alignment with key stakeholders
• Facilitate supplier relationship management, including qualification, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance improvement initiative
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the supply chain, focusing on total cost of ownership, sustainability, and scalability
• Champion the implementation of new ways of working and continuous improvement of operational efficiency
• Supplier consolidation to ensure supply chain optimization based on total landed cost, strategy and roadmap development
• Full understanding of Commodity KPI governance and effective engagement in performance improvement to meet targets
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 Years experience in procurement and relevant bachelor's degree in e.g., Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance
• Proficient communication skills and extensive experience with stakeholder management
• Comprehensive analytical experience and able to work in excel and with pivots. SAP and SAP ARIBA is also welcomed
• As our corporate language is English, fluency in English is required, both verbally and in writing

• Solid analytic skills and ability to derive tangible implications/conclusions from facts and data
• Advanced communication skills in English
