NCE Offshore Technical Sales Management is anchored in Vestas Power Solutions, where new product ideas and technologies are developed, matured, tested, and improved.

Our department is the offshore-focused arm of our Vestas Power Solutions – NCE regional organization, providing the link between our sales business unit and our customer needs towards the central power solutions team, responsible for global product development in Vestas.

 

Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to effectively contribute to the technical value engineering of offshore wind and renewable energy projects and to technical negotiations and technical risk management/contracting as an essential member of the Sales project team. You willact as an anchor and point of contact for the technical sales team on SCADA, Cybersecurity and Communication workstreams and support the interface with the customer on the aforementioned functional workstreams until handover to the regional Plant Engineering team

As the technical sales focal point for SCADA, Cybersecurity and Communication, you will work on project configuration and compliance with market and customer requirements. As such, you will:

  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries, research and prepare clarifications and deviations to tenders, and build relationships with the key functional counterparts within our customers' organization

  • Take ownership for relevant parts of technical risk assessment and mitigation during the Sales phase and adapt the relevant technical annexes and contract schedules to the project-specific requirements, also ensuring alignment with internal governance

  • Participate in technical meetings and present SCADA/Cybersecurity/Communication scope and solutions towards customers, as well as ensure seamless communication with internal stakeholders on technical scoping and clarifications

  • Identify and collect relevant market, country, site and customer-specific requirements

 

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate, you are expected to have:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an Engineering function (Automation/Control/IT/Electrical/Power Systems Engineering or a related field) with about 5years’ experience in a similar position

  • A deep understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, networks and communication interfaces

  • Understanding of Cybersecurity regulations, requirements and specifications. Knowledge of IEC 62443 and NIS directive is ideal

  • Experience in project or product management from a relevant industry (preferablyrenewables, offshore wind, energy)

  • Good communication and presentation skills in English; additional European or Scandinavian language skills would be beneficial

  • Accustomed to traveling and comfortable working in a dynamic and highly progressive environment

  • Creative, detail- and solutions-oriented, and with a high degree of motivation to satisfy customer needs

  • Highly self-motivated, structured and service-minded work style, results-oriented, able to work with little supervision and with an international team
