You will be part of the Yaw, Lubrication & Hydraulics development team in the Control Hardware organization. This position will give you a solid overview of how the different parts of the turbine work together. You will gain a broad knowledge of the different functions of and technical areas of the turbine and be involved in several design activities across the turbine. You will also be involved in the development and integration of innovative solutions that will keep Vestas as the leader in sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer in Yaw, Lubrication & Hydraulics your responsibilities will be:
- Understanding and breaking down requirements, to translate them into suitable solutions
- Support test and validation activities on component and system level. Including planning and documentation
- Design reviews with external suppliers
- Providing inputs for DFMEA assessment and fault analysis
- Support to Service and quality RCA and design updates
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's or M.sc degree in electrical engineering
- Good knowledge and understanding of System Engineering
- Experience in working with requirements on System and component level
- Experience in co-operating with external suppliers on design and test activities

- Proficient teamwork and communication skills
- Structured and performance oriented. You have a high level of motivation to complete tasks effectively
- You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective

The primary work location is in Aarhus, Denmark.
