As our new ESG Reporting Specialist, you will join a cross-functional team responsible for implementing Vestas' ESG reporting strategy within Procurement. You will manage the ESG reporting track, ensuring compliance through accurate, transparent, and meaningful reporting that supports our sustainability goals.
You will ensure that reporting is based on data aligned with best practices for limited assurance. As our subject matter specialist on ESG reporting - including CSRD and various Modern Slavery Statements - you will encourage collegues to adopt best practices and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. You will engage with global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, with partnerships, change- and project management as key elements of your role.
Beyond reporting, you will actively support various sustainability initiatives related to human rights, due diligence, responsible sourcing of minerals, and more - and other cross team tasks when needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on ESG reporting and benchmarking, ensuring alignment with strategic sustainability goals and specific Procurement targets and KPIs
- Develop and enhance our ESG reporting framework and contribute to driving transformation initiatives to make the resilience and sustainability of our supply chain stronger
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders, including suppliers, to ensure continued commitment to our sustainability goals, while joining the internal cross functional CSRD workforce
Qualifications
We will consider different angles into this position, so it could be:
- A relevant master's degree in sustainability, supply chain, procurement, business administration, or another related field. Together with some years of relevant experience in a large complex organization
- Or solid experience in ESG reporting, including strategy development, implementation and execution in a large complex organization
In addition, we prefer:
- Solid project management skills with experience delivering results on projects
- Experience in working with remote teams and engaging across all organizational levels
- Experience working with complex processes and cross-cultural teams
- Solid communicator, fluent in English

Expected travel up to 30 days annually.
