The global SQD team is accountable for the maturity of the Vestas supply base regarding safety, quality and sustainability. Global SQD represents Quality, Safety and Sustainability requirements into modules and submodules for all decisions involving the supply base, being accountable for supply lifecycle management from onboarding to exiting decisions, while facilitating continuous improvements to satisfy the Quality Ambitions of Vestas.

 

Responsibilities

  • Guide, develop and secure a solid quality culture in the Supplier Quality and Development Department, including organisational and talent development

  • Secure sourcing for quality and design for quality within our cross-functional Module teams

  • Make sure we 'walk the talk' on quality, ensuring a high degree of accountability from all internal as well as external stakeholders

  • Deliver clear and relevant quality messages where you dare bring facts for joint evaluation within the Module teams

  • Ensure constant improvement and development related to supplier safety, risk assessment and capacity assurance

  • Demonstrate your leadership capabilities by actively mentoring your employees in a matrix setting

 

Qualifications

  • +10 years of leadership experience, including supervising culturally diverse teams in various positions

  • Several years of theoretical background within Supplier Quality and Development, Procurement, Engineering, Finance or similar

  • Supplier Quality and Development experience, including quality tools and methodologies

 

Competencies

  • Proven leadership skills in a global setting with a high focus on employee satisfaction and motivation

  • Strong collaborator with a versatile attitude and demonstrates a high level of independent judgement and proactivity in the change management process

  • Highly motivated, action-oriented, and persistent towards accomplishing tasks, reaching targets and aspiration for achievements

  • Solid communicator and fluent in English, with the ability to handle stakeholders at all levels of the business
