Can you contribute to reaching our sustainable goals for 2040? We are looking for a Finance Director to Procurement & QSE Finance that gets motivated by supervising a highly engaged and skilled team, and secure efficient collaboration across the value chain.

Global Procurement Finance is a part of Group Finance and responsible for all financial related topics in Global Procurement in Vestas. Our key responsibility is ensuring an accurate group cost on current products as well as supporting the Global Procurement organisation taking the right decisions for Vestas. We are a diverse team with various backgrounds in finance who work closely with our colleagues across Vestas in R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

We are looking for a new colleague, who can direct Global Procurement Finance and continue the great journey we already started.



  • Direct and encourage a highly engaged and skilled finance team of 5 employees within COO Finance
  • To be an integral part of the Global Procurement Management team in Vestas
  • Ensure cost focus and coordinate cost-out programs within Vestas
  • Handle monthly performance, ad hoc analysis and budget process across Global Procurement
  • Interact with stakeholders across the value chain in Vestas to ensure the best possible solutions for the company



  • A financial educational background
  • Expected minimum 5-8 years working experience within finance, manufacturing, or procurement
  • Desirable 2-5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience from a large manufacturing company could also provide a solid background (Wind industry experience is beneficial but not required)
  • Experience in presenting complex analysis to senior stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Solid collaboration skills with the ability to build commitment and trusted relationships with different stakeholders in a global environment  
  • Professional communication skills and comfortable doing presentations

  • Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks with varying timelines and priorities

Additional information

Your primary work location will be Vestas’ headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark.
You can expect up to 5-10 days of travel per year.
