Digital Technology Solutions is dedicated to the development and operation of digital products and platforms combined with the business engagement and digital transformation efforts needed for Vestas to take benefit of the digital investments.
The department Digital Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transport and Supply Chain department contains around 90 people working with business engagement, development and support.
Goal is to standardize and simplify Warehouse, Manufacturing, Transport and Supply Chain Planning across Vestas and external partners trough Digital Capabilities. Equipping teams with effective digital tools for decision-making and implementation enhances the experience for both employees and partners, leading to better value capture.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities. Prepare and document requirement specifications and user stories in close collaboration with the Product Owner. Ensure traceability from business needs to implemented solutions
- Process Analysis and Optimization: Analyze existing processes and propose improvements. Support the design of future-state processes together with the Product Owner and Technical Digital Supply Chain colleagues
- Collaboration with IT and Business: Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into User Stories. Support the IT architect by providing clarification on business logic and processes
- Support Prioritization: Contribute to task estimation and assess business value and complexity. Provide input for backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Testing and Validation: Develop test scenarios and support user acceptance testing in collaboration with business stakeholders. Ensure solutions meet requirements before go-live
- Change Management and Implementation: Contribute to the creation of communication and implementation plans. Support training and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, preferably within Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in working within Supply Chain and Inventory Planning, such as within Service Supply Chain Management
- Well versed in communicating in verbal and written English
- Experience working in an Agile environment & DevOps system is beneficial
Competencies
- Proficient analytical skills and business understanding is needed, and also experience in supply chain planning
- Experience in requirements specification and process modelling
- Skilled in communication, with the capacity to involve both business and IT contributors
- Resourceful and skilled at ensuring task completion without guidance
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or similar) with an agile mindset
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAC reports or similar systems is merited
- Knowledge of planning systems

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately 14 days per year.
