Vestas' Global Service business is continuously growing and has strategic importance. With our corporate strategy "Global leader in Sustainable Energy Solutions" we have set ambitious growth targets for the Service business in the coming years. Achieving such targets require a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally and digitalization is a key element. 

Our current Customer self-service channel VestasOnline with a global reach is rapidly growing with more digital self-services and important daily touchpoint for our service business customers. And the core team around this needs to be strengthened further.


A key factor for success is to assist our regional customer support functions and customer service management with new and improved digital services and tools to accelerate the digital transformation. You will work very closely together with the global Digital Customer Channels team in Vestas Service, global digital product owners, digital product managers and the development team, as well as the Digital Customer Support team and IT Service on a daily basis to continuously develop, operate and optimize the self-services.



The Digital Business Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily business operations and continuously day to day improvement of our key digital channel - bridging regional customer support and customer service managers, global customer support and development teams.The Digital Business Operations Specialis will act as liaison between regional and Global function on validating, maturing and help prioritizing incoming change requests and improvement ideas.


A key task is to keep a strong focus on a globalized and standardized operating model so that we can efficiently scale, maintain and support our digital self-service products.

  • Support regional and global customer support units when incidents are reported, with root cause investigation facilitation, as well as subsequent resolution handling and implementation. 
  • Business development focus on identifying continuous improvements and gather feedback from regions, customers etc, to digital product management and development teams.
  • Facilitate and drive requirement clarification and benefit validation of incoming change and improvement requests from stakeholders.
  • Define and describe acceptance criteria of new functionality and ensure/support final business acceptance testing before release to the business.
  • Plan and drive implementation of new self-service products, in close collaboration with digital product manager and development team and aligned with regional and global customer support functions.



  • A Bachelors or Master's degree in IT or relavent with min of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Business oriented mindset.
  • Product Owner experiences is advantageous
  • We focus on revenue creation support, operational/sales efficiency and (digital) customer experience.
  • Understanding of Business processes and data structure. If experience from Vestas Service / Customer support / commercial service operations it is good to have, but not a prerequisite 



  • A good understanding of IT development processes and agile product development.
  • Good at communication skills in English.
  • Solid analytic skills and mindset.
  • Service mindset. Will always make sure our stakeholders are able to deliver optimal customer experience and that we are not the bottleneck in that.
  • Team member oriented. Utilize the team when needed and also support the colleagues.
  • Self-organized and detailed-oriented, pragmatical and gets the task over the finishing line within agreed deadlines.
