Region NCE & Global Offshore > Global Offshore > Offshore Aftersales and Upgrades
The Aftersales & Upgrades department is responsible for end-to-end delivery of offshore service campaigns and aftersales projects across Global Offshore. You will be responsible for offshore day-to-day operations within a multidisciplinary organization, ensure onsite operational excellence, and delivering value for our internal and external customers. The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you become part of an experienced team of >500 colleagues who daily work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.
Responsibilities
- Offshore Operational Execution & Resource Efficiency: Manage daily offshore operations to ensure safe, productive, and cost efficient use of vessel time, resources, and personnel while meeting budget and productivity targets
- Shift Leadership & Safety Oversight: Hold full responsibility for safety, welfare, compliance with permit to work systems and Wind Turbine Safety Rules during the shift, acting as the primary operational escalation point. Be part of the project leadership together with the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Logistics & Resource Coordination: Oversee marine logistics, including manifests, crew changes, tooling, and materials, and plan shift resources in collaboration with Master Planning and OFS Operations Resources
- Documentation, QA & Progress Reporting: Ensure complete and accurate documentation (including DPR, QA records and NCRs), track planned vs. actual progress, manage risks/deviations, and report status to the Site Manager/Project Manager
- Stakeholder Interface & Technical Support: Serve as the key interface between the onboard client representative and vessel operator, while supporting Supervisors and Technicians with operational and technical queries throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working within the wind industry
- Advanced knowledge of construction/service management processes, models and methods as well as process safety standards and local legislation
- Ability to obtain and hold GWO and country specific Medical check certification
- Proficient in Office 365 and SAP, with solid IT literacy
- Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written

The role follows a 14/14 rotation pattern, with the primary workplace being a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) supporting offshore wind farm operations.
