As Master Data specialist you will be a part of our Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain Systems team reporting to Director Jens Christensen.

GSC&T is a global organization with more than 200 employees based in different locations all around the world. We coordinate 100,000's of shipments across our worldwide factories in our global supply chain every year. Our vision is to enable Vestas to deliver best in class margins in a high quality way anywhere in the world. This includes having best in class global operations through value chain cost out, continually deliver anywhere in the world by adapting to market changes in an agile approach through quality footprint and having one set of S&OP numbers and a continuously optimized portfolio plan.

Supply Chain Configuration & Excellence are responsible for the systems, processes and tools utilized in the end-to-end supply chain of Vestas, both developing new solutions, maintaining current systems, train users around the world.

 

Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to guide the preparation of data sets for our new planning tool (O9 Solutions). You will join the project team and together with IT colleagues, consultants and business system colleagues with the task to ensure that data sets needed for the solution are evaluated, governed and improved if necessary.

In the project team you will be responsible for ensuring data quality and on your own initiative launch needed activities to improve the data quality and training of the organization around them. You will be a bridge between the project requirements, the data owners and the functions in the organization.

 

Your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Ensure clear definition of data requirements
  • Drive data improvement and delegate tasks to colleague where relevant
  • Establish data governance
  • Define and implement reports/validation tools as relevant

 

Qualifications

We expect that on the professional level you have:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Supply Chain Management, Business Development or similar
  • Quality assurance background is appreciated but not required
  • Experience with and understanding of global trade concepts, processes & solution design
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g. SAP ECC)
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a global environment with focus on master data or logistic
  • Relevant SAP Master Data/project experience of working with businesses/functions related to Supply Chain set-up from a product-based company
  • Detailed knowledge of SAP MD, which is essential

On the personal level, you have:

  • Good ability to establish overview of complex data structures and organization
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English

•                          Capability of handling complex situations (problem solver) and comprehend complex business structures

  • You thrive in a lively organization with sometimes conflicting priorities and can navigate in it with effective stakeholder management skills
